Andreas Tuck, Denmark 1950s
Price: £1250

A rare and striking side table designed by the master of Danish design. The table has oak legs and an unusual and graphic wenge veneered surface. The underside is branded with the mark of the manufacturer Andreas Tuck indicating it belongs to an early production.

It is worth noting that the table has an unusual height. The legs are roughly 10cm taller than other examples we have come across. They seem to have been extended as you can see in the images. As the extensions to the legs have been executed so exactly we presume the piece was a custom order carried out by Andreas Tuck.

It would be possible to remove the extensions where the join is which would make it a more usual coffee table height although it would work well as a side table as is.

The table is in excellent original condition with only a few age related marks. The grain is still vivid and has not at all faded over the years.
