ROBIN DAY INTERPLAN SIDEBOARD
A glass and wood Robin Day sideboard designed for Hille, UK, 1950s. The piece is from the Interplan range by the leading British furniture designer of the post war era. Vitrolite glass sliding doors sit inside a mahogany veneered cabinet which sits on top of tubular metal legs. Very rarely seen on the market, an exceptional piece of museum quality design. We have a copy of the original liberty sale listing, from where it was previously sold to its last owner. The original doors are in excellent condition. The cabinet has become faded over time and is due to be refinished.
